caleb is 2

Can't believe 2 years has gone by already since we came from Red Bluff hospital with a sleepy boy. Seems just like yesterday that we were learning how to be Caleb's mom and dad. How to change diapers quickly before he decides to drench the wall. How to live on 4 hours of sleep or less. How to adjust your life schedule to someone who hasn't been on this planet for more than a day. How to love a human being more than you could ever love something.

What's he up to now that he's 2?

His vocabulary grows daily. Kara continually works with him on his ABC's and 123's and gets better every time he rehearses for me.

He has graduated from a crib to a toddler bed, and has yet to test mom and dad's patience now that there are no longer bars restricting him from roaming the room at bedtime.

He believes that he owns our church. Just like a typical PK (pastor's kid), before and after service he loves to run around the stage touching every instrument. So fun to watch and protect the expensive equipment at the same time.

He's getting better and better as a big brother to Samaria. He'll hug her hourly, though to the untrained eye it may look like a martial arts hold.

Here are some pictures from his 2nd birthday party.
